Design is Constant. Tools are Variables

Thirteen years of product design across a range of industries, two countries, and more design tools than I care to count. What has stayed constant through all of it is simpler than any framework: if you understand the person, the design follows.

I’m based in Ontario, Canada, and I work across B2B SaaS, enterprise software, e-commerce, and AI products. I came to design through a degree in Communication Design where I studied Graphic Design and Photography. The photography training stuck more than people expect. It taught me to see what most people look past.

I’m not anxious about AI. I am excited by it!

Design has outlived every technology shift in history because clarity, trust, and ease are not technical problems. AI is going to free up space for the work that actually matters. I’m already finding that to be true.

Outside of work I read voraciously, over 150 books a year across different genres. I game seriously (Playstation is my vice) and find myself constantly pulling apart the decisions behind great interactive experiences. I am also a proud mother of two, which has taught me things about focus and holding yourself to a standard that no professional environment ever could.

I’m looking to work with a  team that takes design seriously. Not as a step in a process, but as how they think.
